Masatoshi Karino: New Jungle Rider team member

While in Japan recently, Martti added both AKI whose video is a couple posts down, and also Masatoshi to the Jungle Rider team. Here's a short clip of him. Nice job, and congrats!

Akihiko Takahashi Jungle Rider

Akihiko's first edit on his new frame from his sponsor Jungle Rider, run by the legendary Martti Kuoppa. Incredible style, and huge tricks! AKI does things I'd never expect to see rolling backwards. He seems to be the master of his own style. Backwards crackpacker barflip was crazy! Turbining half packer from backwards to forwards, back to backwards rolling was really fresh looking. The switch at around 2:27 alone blew my mind! Sick regular to cross foot jumplashes, backwards pumping and jumping, just everything in this is so good I'm blown away! AND, he does it all with such rock solid smoothness. Masterful!

Jungle Rider frame is almost there!

These are the first close up shots I've seen posted of Martti's highly anticipated signature Jungle Rider frame. It looks great, and very strong. I love the "M" seatstay bridge and integrated tensioners-nice details.
