Yesterday's session was very chill, very fun. I shot some video of Mark, rode some bikes, and then took some pictures. Looking forward to next Saturday, already.

I filmed Mark doing this month's trick of the month- a way for people learning to bond together and share tips and experiences.

 Austin is unique in the US; in that we have a long established riding scene here with a central "spot" to ride. Lot's of riders over the years have made a stop here at the OG to ride with us, and today I'm pleased to show you this little slice of life bit from our jam with Greg "the steez" Tylosky. I just made that nickname up right now. He's rad at bikes.

Greg came to visit us from Seatle, and to spend a week here just enjoying Austin. It was a real treat to see his sick controlled street + flatland style, and ride with him.

The day of the jam, and the day before was sadly just miserably wet and chilly. Not everyone believed that it would be "worth" riding, but for those of us that attended; it totally was!

This is a vibe video- not a greatest hits video. I'm taking you with me inside our rainy little jam at the OG.

I'm very inexperienced at this type of filming, so I apologize for the focus issues...

Sidewalk Sailing

Local riders Alex "Magic" Johnson and Kenny Boucher having fun on the sidewalk outside the OG. This was shot during the pre-jam for Texas Flatland Roundup 6. We had a lot of fun that night.

Dane's Hand.

This weekend we had a flatland contest (Texas Flatland Roundup 6) that happens every year. This year the vibe was great! We had a really good DJ kicking tunes and a lot of really good riders show up. Outside where we were riding there was a BBQ competition, so all day the smell of food cooking was in the air, and we could grab something to eat right there. A couple vendors even sold beer, which ended up making things interesting :)

During practice I noticed a certain blonde gentleman standing on the sidelines, just calmly checking it out. Sure enough it was Dane Beardsley! I've never spent time with Dane, but after this weekend I can say that in addition to being one of the sickest riders around, he's a heck of a nice guy and a lot of fun to ride with.

The contest was good, the jam at the OG the night before was good, and the jam at the OG after the contest was good. A lot of riding went down! The OG (Oltorf Garage) is where we ride here, and it's become a bit of a flatland mecca. Every rider passing through tries to get out to it and ride there.

After the contest, some of us went straight there to get some more riding in. Dane wasn't sure how to spell it, so he wrote it down on his hand to make finding the exit easier. In two full days of riding, this is the one and only picture I took, and I dig it.

2 from Rad Dad

Mark has led the way this year, inspiring riders with his progress and positive attitude. Definitely worth subscribing to his video channels as he's been putting out a LOT of "Today's Riding" videos lately. This last one is his most recent, showing great progress and new tricks!

The second video features our good friend Adam, and some other OG riders celebrating his birthday by having a small jam. Adam's got some big skills!

Matthias's ATX Tattoo

Earlier this year, we were fortunate to have Matthias right here in ATX for a whole month! I'm very stoked that our scene left enough of an impression on him to get a tattoo! Adam Diclaudio's New Switch

"On September 3, 2010 Adam DiClaudio hit a new switch into Half Packer. Filmed by Josh Duffek the very first one ever hit was on film as well. Adam gives credit to Vicki Gomez for this switch. He calls it a Steamroller underhand barflip 360 pivot to halfpacker!
